Adur and Worthing Carer Walking Group

The Carers Support West Sussex Adur & Worthing team and Adur Healthy Walkers are delighted to invite you to join us for a seafront walk.

Walking is an excellent natural exercise that can help you to stay healthy, live longer, control your weight, and keep you happy. It is also a great way to fight stress and improve your emotional wellbeing.

Meet at the Perch on Lancing Beach once a month, we will alternate walks: Towards Widewater Lagoon – enjoy a walk along the seafront to enjoy the sea and the nature reserve – 45 minute walk.

Please meet at 10:15 AM, with walk to start at 10:30 AM

After the walk there will be time for carers to catch up and have a chat.

Perch on Lancing Beach offers a wonderful selection of food and drinks for you to purchase – please stay on and have a coffee or lunch afterwards if you wish.

Please bring suitable footwear, suncream, raincoat or brolly as well as some water to drink – we will be running the groups during all seasons.

There is a public pay and display car park, or road parking is available locally.

The walks are organised by Healthy Walks who have requested names and postcodes are carers attending. Carers Support West Sussex will share this information after each walk if you attend – your details will not be not be used for any marketing purposes or shared with any other organisations.

About Your Hosts

Our friendly Adur & Worthing wellbeing workers are passionate about supporting carers and making a positive difference to their wellbeing. Our team are all carers and understand the challenges and rewards of caring for others.

Adur Healthy Walkers are a team of friendly volunteers who very much believe in improving health through activity.
